Do you ever find yourself throwing away your Parmesan container but you feel like you could use it for something else....? I have! You can use it for sooo many things. One of the things that I like to use it for is as a piggy bank of sorts. Especially one year olds, can be entertained by interacting in what I call bank action which I define as the action of placing one item into a slot or hole. It is great for strengthening their fine motor skills, and you can swap the item to keep it interesting. The container is see through and the label comes off super easy. The lid comes with holes on one side which is great for things like straws or pipe cleaners or you could use the larger open side for stuff like Popsicle sticks. The larger side also comes in handy for the children to be able to access the contents themselves once they are ready to start over again.
