Hey everyone! My name is Liz. I lived here and there and truly sampled life. I am originally from Texas. With hipies for parents, it was an interesting start. My parents built their own house with their own hands, but it sadly caught on fire and our adventure continued up north. I currently live in Connecticut with my husband and our daughter. I have a lot of background in professional child care. For years I have worked on lesson plans and come up with ideas but I feel like I have just been throwing them away after I use them, so I figured I would create this site, so my ideas can live on. My name is Lauren and grew up in Central Massachusetts but I now in Connecticut where I live with my husband, daughter, three dogs and a cat. You can say we have a house full!
I am a first time parent to my daughter who has just turned 6 months old. They say "a dream is a wish your heart makes" and she is my dream come true! She is growing so fast, it's hard to believe she is already 6 months old.
I spent a few years as a hairdresser before switching to early child care for a few years specializing 1-2 years. I have since switched jobs again but I use what I learned in early child care to enrich the life of my daughter and help her learn and grow. There is so much valuable information and resources out there for parents that I am thrilled to help bring it to you.
Through this journey, I will be posting all sorts of valuable information for you guys to check out. You will see a lot of stuff in regards to my daughter and how I am encouraging her growth, things she likes or dislikes and our journey as mother and daughter. Hello everyone! My name is Charles. I was born in Louisiana but I have been living in Rhode Island the majority of my life. I attended CCRI where I received an Associates in Education / Special Education. I also attended URI, where I received a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus in Early Childhood Education. I had the privilege of working as a toddler teacher for three years before becoming a head preschool teacher for the past three years. I hope to share fun blogs that incorporate my experience as a teacher and parent as well as articles, activities and more with all of you.
