Smell Sensory Bottle

These sensory bottles are great! The other senses are pretty easy to illustrate, but smell can be tricky, especially with certain ages. It's not easy to provide something for your kids that will be safe for them and is not going to start to spoil if lost. All you do is save your spice bottle when you are done. Rinse well with soap and water. Remove label. Place desired scent wax into container glue the lid back on. They will likely also enjoy the clicking of the lid and the rattling of the wax. I have used this with one year old all the way up to preschool. The children can have fun smelling it without being able to place it in their mouth. Open discussions about descriptor words. "That smells really sweet! That reminds me of...."
