I had what I thought were a lot of rechargeable batteries when I had my daughter. Apparently, I didn't have near enough to keep up with the need for batteries in all my child's toys. I had to buy even more, and I am so glad I did. I can't imagine going through batteries every time her toy would run out of juice. Do yourself a favor and get a bunch right from the start. You will be so happy that you did!
